The core components of Camp Mariposa are designed to provide children who are affected by substance use or substance use disorder in their families with a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
Youth develop trusting relationships with both trained adult mentors and teen mentors who have successfully graduated from Camp Mariposa.
Through deep breathing, yoga, and wilderness hikes, youth learn critical coping skills to help them manage challenging emotions and stress.
The activities provided are designed to be both fun and educational, and they aim to provide a sense of belonging, empowerment, and confidence.
At Camp Mariposa, we are proud to collaborate with esteemed partners who share our mission of empowering and supporting children affected by addiction in their families. Our valued sponsors are critical in helping us achieve this goal and making a positive impact on the lives of these young individuals.
